I’m Jens—born in the 80s (a fantastic decade, by the way), happily married, proud dad to a lively daughter, and human to our mischievous dog, Apollo, who keeps life endlessly entertaining. Originally from Germany, my family and I have been soaking up the Dutch way of life for a few years now, and we’re loving every minute of it (though Apollo still thinks he owns every canal).

So, how did I end up making jewelry, you ask? It’s been quite the journey! After finishing school, I started out in the quality departments of a big retailer, where I spent years ensuring everything met the highest standards. My work took me from Germany to the bustling streets of Hong Kong, and finally here to the Netherlands. It was a rewarding career that taught me to sweat the details and appreciate craftsmanship.

But something was missing—a creative spark, a way to make something truly my own. That’s when I stumbled upon the art of sandcasting. It was love at first pour! Sandcasting is this amazing, hands-on technique where molten metal meets sand molds, creating unique, textured pieces that are impossible to replicate. Suddenly, all my experience in quality and precision had a whole new purpose: creating jewelry that’s as personal and distinctive as the people who wear it.

Now, whether I’m designing in the studio, chasing after my daughter, or trying to keep Apollo out of trouble, I’m living a life full of inspiration and creativity. My jewelry is a reflection of that—playful, meaningful, and always made with care.
